Last December, I took "early retirement" from a managerial position with BT and gave up my 9-5pm routine for an even busier life of being with horses, helping my local Wildlife Trust as a volunteer and became a part-time travel consultant - doing what I love doing, advising others about safari holidays in Africa.
I had turned down a honeymoon in Africa but one year on we had our first taste of the great continent. Ever since, the pull of Africa attracted us back year after year until more recently, when we visited several times a year. So I feel confident to offer advice and sell safari holidays with the background I have, especially now that I have linked up with Safari Consultants one of the UK's top agents in the safari industry.
I am one who puts 100% into everything I do. I enjoy talking to people to ensure they get the safari that most suits them. My days as a trainee shepherdess is fulfilling my dream of a life outdoors and as you can see from my website Horseback Safaris and the pictures of my Friesian horse (bought for a very special birthday last year), I spend more time around horses.
