West in the East

Thursday, September 04, 2008

I was delighted to spend Tuesday with Cor and West from Limpopo Valley Horse Safaris. They are over to attend Burghley and Blenheim, but found time to squeeze in a day of Suffolk sightseeing, followed by a Meet the Guides evening at the Limes Hotel, Needham Market.

The English summer weather was at its worst, but we enjoyed in a pub lunch overlooking the Orwell followed by a cream tea in Constale Country - with a short stroll in the rain at Shotley in between, to refresh our appetites. It is the first time overseas for West, so at least it will help him understand why we are so keen to see the African sun!

There was a good turnout for the evening presentations, which included an excellent new DVD of the LVHS experience. Everyone certainly gave the impression of enjoying themselves, and there was lively discussion afterwards. Whilst it is always nice to make a few sales, above all I enjoy the opportunity to be able to share some of my experiences and my enthusiasm for Africa. Thanks again to both Cor and West, and those of you who supported us.
